Making Sense of the Forces That Shape Our Lives

I write because some questions are too important to leave unexamined.

Questions about Health. Power. Justice. Care. Childhood. Belonging.

And the kinds of futures we are creating together.

Much of modern life encourages us to move quickly. Writing allows me to slow down.

To look beneath symptoms.

To connect seemingly unrelated ideas.

To make sense of the forces shaping our lives and our health.

My work has appeared in national newspapers, medical journals and public platforms. I write for clinicians, policymakers, educators, leaders and curious citizens who want to understand not only what is happening in the world, but why.

At the heart of my writing is a belief that ideas matter.

The stories we tell about health shape the systems we build around it. If we tell better stories, ask better questions and imagine more boldly, we create the possibility of something different.

This is the spirit behind my writing, whether I am exploring infant sleep, child poverty, creativity, public health, professionalism or justice. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe better questions can change the world.
